Would you help us by supporting one or more of the children at the Bel Air home for just GBP £15.00 per month, that's approximately EC$60.00, CAN $24.00 or US $24.00.
All of the children living at the home come from abused, neglected or abandoned backgrounds, so to forge a relationship with new people who care and show an interest in them is really important and part of their personal growth and development.
Some of the children have been at the home for many years with little outside contact, apart from volunteers and going to school.
Your sponsorship would provide medical help, therapy and educational benefits for each child sponsored.
Alternatively, for just £30 per month you can sponsor one of our 9 Nursery staff and this would release more funding for our projects and essential school maintenance etc.

Its so rewarding
and changes a child’s life!
I have been sponsoring a child at Bel Air so it was a real pleasure to meet her.
Kelvah is a very bright, articulate, 11 year old. Initially quite shy, we then spent
ages talking, reading, playing cards, drawing and doing homework (she was much better
than me at both the maths and science home work!!). I was shocked that her only space
was a very small room with nothing more than a bed, cupboard and a few clothes, but
she was just so excited to tell me that she had chosen the colour of her walls! Kelva
and her many friends at the home understood about the sponsorship programme and were
so grateful, I just feel honoured to sponsor such a lovely girl.
Although the children
and the staff are happy they really do have very little. If you are visiting Grenada
they are so grateful for anything you can bring.
Having been there in person, I would
ask anyone, if at all possible, to sponsor a child. It is such a meaningful initiative
and all the older children understand about the programme and it really shows to
them that someone cares. It would be fantastic if every child in the home could be
sponsored. I know that every penny spent is totally worthwhile for these amazing
children.

I have just returned from a week in Grenada and whilst there, visited the Bel Air Childrens Home. What an incredibly humbling experience! Initially I was shocked at the stark and bare nature of the home, but the response from the children was overwhelming. The atmosphere of the home was one of love and kindness. The children all look out for each other and were delighted to see a visitor in their home. The most exciting news that they wanted to share was how their home had recently been painted bright yellow and they now had a world map painted on the wall!
